NorthStar, an 8(a) JV Between Allied Technology and GLOTECH, Wins a $127.4 Million IDIQ Contract for DHS/USCG Engineering Services - The U.S. Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command Atlantic announced July 28, 2006, that it has awarded an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract for DHS/USCG Engineering Services to NorthStar, LLC. The total award was $127.4 million, if all options are executed. The contract covers a base period of two years, with four two-year options for a total period of performance of ten years. The contract is expected to result in 80 jobs in the Hampton Roads region. DHS/Coast Guard technical support services expected to be performed under the contract include: System Engineering and Design support, Technical Assistance and Field Engineering, Manufacturing and Assembly, Equipment Overhaul, Integrated Logistics Support, Training Support, and Facility Management. NorthStar, LLC is a Small Business Administration (SBA) sanctioned Joint Venture (JV) of GLOTECH, Inc and Allied Technology Group, Inc.

Allied Technology Wins $10 Million U.S. Coast Guard Command Center Watch Stander Support Contract - Allied Technology was awarded a $10 million, five-year contract under its GSA IT Schedule Contract to provide watch standers at the U.S. Coast Guard headquarters and area command centers. The personnel assigned under the contract support the operation of the command and control systems at the command centers, providing tactical updates, situation awareness and system administration support for the operation of the Global Command and Control System – Joint, operational support of Coast Guard communications networks, and support of on-going command center operations. Personnel are assigned at the U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, DC., Coast Guard Pacific Area Command in Alameda, California, and the U.S. Atlantic Area Command in Portsmouth, Virginia.

Allied Technology Part of Winning Stanley Associates Team for C4I Fleet Installation and Technical Services - Allied Technology is part of the winning Stanley Associates Team to provide C4I Fleet Installation and Technical Services to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command in San Diego, CA. This is a five year cost plus fixed fee IDIQ contract valued at $21.4 Million. This contract will entail a full range of Fleet technical support, including: hardware engineering; hardware and software installations; and post installation documentation and support.

Allied Technology Wins $3.9 Million Contract to Support the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) AMSARA Program - Allied Technology Group won a 5 year $3.9 million contract for Biostatistician and Epidemiological Support Services on behalf of the Accession Medical Standards Analysis and Research Activity (AMSARA) program, Department of Preventive Medicine, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research. Services required include data abstract/collection, data entry, database management, computer programming, biostatistical and epidemiologic analysis.

Allied Technology wins a five year contract with The Division of Biometrics, Department of Biostatistics at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) - The Division of Biometrics, Department of Biostatistics at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) has awarded a contract to ATG to provide biostatistical expertise to researchers at WRAIR. Allied technology staff will provide guidance on statistical approaches to proposed studies, including writing technical sections of scientific proposals and protocols. Allied Technology expertise will be provided on efficient and effective design of laboratory experiments, clinical trial techniques to assess safety and efficacy of medical interventions, survival analysis to assess expected functioning of military equipment and personnel over time, and other biostatistical topics. Allied Technology staff will also provide computer programming guidance in the use of statistical analysis software.

Allied Technology is Awarded a Contract to Support the Department of State’s SMART Program - In September, 2006, Allied Technology was awarded a contract to provide Quality Management, Software Testing, Change Management, and Deployment services for the Department of State's SMART (State Messaging and Archive Retrieval Toolset) Program. Allied Technology staff are performing services across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including the implementation of CMMI Level 3 processes, user-focused change management, and worldwide deployment.

Allied Technology Supports 2006 Inter-Service/Industry Conference (I/ITSEC) - The Naval Education and Training Command (NETC) annually participates in conferences such as the Interservice/Industry Training Systems and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) held in Orlando,Florida. For the second year in a row, Allied Technology’s Orlando Training Services Division was awarded this contract to coordinate all efforts for NETC's booth infrastructure and technical support. These conferences promote cooperation and collaboration among the Armed Services, Industry Businesses, Government agencies, and Academia. NETC's role in these conferences is to provide display and demonstration of the latest projects, technologies, and learning innovations. The December 2006 I/ITSEC booth for NETC displayed Battlestation 21. This P-Way simulator depicted the sights, sounds, and smells of an actual battleship under attack. The Allied Technology team coordinated the booth assembly; all associated technology provided NETC with daily onsite support. Allied Technology's efforts did not go unnoticed, with rave reviews from several high-ranking Navy officials. Before the last crate was packed Allied Technology was, again, requested to offer their assistance in managing the NETC booth for the 2007 I/ITSEC conference.
